Sweet Potato Fries
Simple recipes are the best, huh? And when they only have 1 ingredient, it really can't get much easier. Homemade sweet potato fries are hard to mess up, even for those who struggle with making box mac 'n cheese! Plus, with this recipe you'll avoid all those added fat calories that are in deep-fried restaurant french fries. It's a win, win, if you ask me!
Ingredients:
1 sweet potato per person
Black pepper
Sea salt
Garlic powder
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 400F, line baking sheet with tinfoil, and coat with nonstick spray.
2. Wash sweet potatoes and dry.
3. Slice potatoes into 1/2" wedges.
4. Spread wedges evenly onto baking sheet and season with pepper, salt, and garlic powder.
5. Bake for 20 minutes, stir up fries, and bake for another 15-20 minutes.
6. Turn on oven broiler and broil for 10 minutes, or until crispy and golden brown.
