Dark Chocolate Peppermint Bars

With the holidays sneaking up on us (as always), I know it can be difficult to keep your nutrition in check. These protein brownies are the perfect sweet treat to satisfy your sweet tooth and sneak some protein in too!
With the holidays sneaking up on us (as always), I know it can be difficult to keep your nutrition in check. These protein brownies are the perfect sweet treat to satisfy your sweet tooth and sneak some protein in too!
Ingredients:
1.5 scoops Jamie Eason's Chocolate Whey (check it out here: www.labrada.com/store/wheyisolateforher.html)
1/3 cup oat flour
1/3 cup dark cocoa powder
1/4 tsp baking soda
2 eggs
2 tbs agave nectar
3 oz nonfat plain greek yogurt
1/2 cup almond milk
Toppings:
1 candy cane, crushed
4 tbs dark chocolate chips (I recommend Ghirardelli)
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350F
2. Combine all dry ingredients, then add wet ingredients
3. Once throughly mixed, pour batter in a sprayed 9x9 baking dish
4. Sprinkle with chocolate chips and candy cane
5. Bake for 20 minutes
6. Let cool, slice into 9 servings, & enjoy!
