Sometimes life just gets the better of us. It feels like the weight of the world is on our shoulders and we can't get out from underneath. Well, I am here to tell you that, yes, sometimes life is hard and nothing seems to go right. But, lucky for us, there is so much more to life than never ending bills, a frustrating job, struggling relationships/friendships, or whatever you may be facing at the moment. And there's more good news! If there is one thing I've learned in my 23 years, it's that everything changes and nothing stays the same. So, if you're on the struggle bus right now, as many of us are in one way or another, this is your reminder that there is a light at the end of the tunnel!
Speaking of a light at the end of the tunnel, I'd like to point out the brightest light out there. He goes by the name of Jesus Christ. If you don't know Him, I strongly encourage you to introduce yourself and take some time to get to know Him. There is nothing He would love more and I promise you won't regret it.
Philippians 1:6 says "I am convinced and sure of this very thing, that He who began a good work in you will finish it through to completion until the day of Jesus Christ." Can I get an "AMEN"?! I wrote this verse on my bathroom mirror several weeks ago. Day after day, these words seep deeper and deeper into my mind. If this isn't music to your ears, then I don't know what is. I mean, the God of the UNIVERSE wants to do good things in your life. And not just good things, but great, amazing, wonderful things.
Life can be challenging, uncertain, and scary, at times. But, absolutely NOTHING is too difficult for our Savior. The next time fear, worry, intimidation, or stress comes knocking on your door, keep the door locked and run as far away as you can. You can be confident in the truth that God will continue to use you for His glory. And that means doing things that are beyond our expectations and dreams. Keep truckin' and knowing that you're in good hands!
Till next time,
